The firm seeks a high calibre individual who has operated at national CPA firm, possesses a broad and deep understanding of taxation with a focus on closely-held businesses; S-Corporations; Partnerships; LLCs; high net worth individuals and high level international tax issues. You will have deep experience reviewing and signing out complex federal and state tax returns as well as possessing a strong grasp of financial statements. Experience in representing clients at the IRS and state tax audits; appeals and dispute resolution, litigation support experience including assisting law firms on civil and criminal tax cases as well as experience in writing federal and state tax protests are all highly desirable.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to be CPA or EA licensed, as well as possessing 8+ years’ experience within public accounting with the past few years operating in national CPA firm. You will have exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.

We are looking for experienced public accountants for our senior accountant and tax manager with 3+ years of tax experience who understand the importance of professionalism, technical excellence, and commitment to the highest industry standards.

Our partners and managers, whom you would have direct interactions with, have many years of experience at the national, regional and local firm levels. We offer a comprehensive range of audit, accounting, taxation, advisory, and compliance services for a wide variety of businesses and their owners and serve a broad spectrum of securities funds, private-equity and venture capital firms, real estate firms, private foundations, and high-net-worth and ultra high-net-worth individuals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master in Accounting or Taxation
  • CPA license
  • 3+ years of tax experience for senior accountant position; 5+ years of tax experience for our tax manager position, including recent experience at the manager-level
  • Demonstrates leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to set and work with goals, objectives, and deadlines

Job requirements :

l   Dipolma / Degree holder in Accountancy or other business-related discipline

l   Hands-on experience in Windows applications, Excel is a MUST

l   Excellent analytical and proactive approach to problem solving

l   Pleasant, detail-oriented, self-initiative, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong sense of responsibility, able to handle multi-task, work independently and under pressure

l   Proficiency in written and spoken English and Cantonese and Good at Putonghua is a definite advantage

l   Degree holder in Accounting, members of HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent 

l   Exposure incorporate and individual tax experience PRC tax, Field Audit & Tax Investigation, US tax or cross-border tax advisory an advantage

l   Fluent in written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua

l   Proficiency in PC skills including Chinese word processing
